IT EXECUTIVES
What is unique about Midsize Enterprise Summit?
While there are numerous IT events, none have focused solely on the needs of midsize businesses. This has set the standard ensuring an audience of your peers, developing a targeted Event program, and engaging Technology & Service Providers who are committed to the midmarket. Now in its 8th year, Midsize Enterprise Summit continues to grow with an extended three-and-a-half day Agenda, an increase in the number of IT Executive attendees at each venue, and an established European Event.
Midsize Enterprise Summit is designed to benefit CIOs, IS Directors, Vice Presidents of IT and others responsible for strategic IT decision-making, including the evaluation, negotiation and selection of IT solutions for their midsize enterprise.
What are the highlights of the Agenda?
The three-and-a-half day Summit is a full schedule of business and social events. We move from Gartner-led General and Breakout Sessions, to Technology & Service Provider-led World Premiere and Boardroom presentations, to Peer Exchange Workshops, and a Solution Showcase. Throughout the Event, we offer numerous opportunities to network with all Midsize Enterprise Summit participants in a variety of settings.

What does it cost to attend Midsize Enterprise Summit?
Midsize Enterprise Summit is an invitation-only event, and attendance is limited at each venue. To qualify to attend, you must be a Senior IT Executive at a midsize business. If invited, you will be hosted as our guest and receive complimentary conference registration, travel arrangements, private hotel accommodations, meals and social events.
Because the number of applicants always exceeds the number of IT Executive guests that we can accommodate at each Event, we encourage you to complete the online survey now.
Why are you offering me a complimentary conference?
The Midsize Enterprise Summit format provides a win-win-win situation for everyone involved - Gartner Analysts, IT Executive guests, and Technology providers with midmarket solutions. Gartner presents research specific to midsize enterprise IT issues, while gleaning direct feedback from hundreds of IT Executives. Vendors, who sponsor the conference, gain access to a well-defined audience of qualified attendees. You are able to attend a high-level Gartner Event without having to cut into your education, training, or travel budget. We do expect your full participation throughout the event, but there is no obligation to purchase Gartner services or Technology Provider solutions.
How does Midsize Enterprise Summit define a midsize business?
We define midsize businesses as those with 100+ employees, and annual sales revenue between $100 million and $1 billion. Senior IT Executives further qualify to attend the Event as our guests based on job function, IT budget level, and decision-making authority. We invite IT Executives from across industries, with an emphasis on high-growth segments such as financial services, retail, healthcare and manufacturing.
Will I have access to Gartner research and expertise?
Education is a key component of the Summit. At General Sessions we take a look at strategic and technical issues, and through topic-driven Breakout Sessions, you choose key areas of interest to you. At Peer Exchange Workshops, Best Practice Sessions and Panel Discussions, you benefit from Gartner Analysts' insight as well as your peers. Additionally, we offer our guests access to private One-on-One meetings with Gartner Analysts on-site. This provides the opportunity to follow up on specific conference presentations and to get detailed answers to your unique IT questions.
What are Private Boardroom Appointments and how are they scheduled?
Private Boardroom Appointments entail small groups of 16-20 Senior IT Executives exchanging dialogue with Technology Providers and their peers. These prescheduled appointments are mandatory 30-minute sessions midmorning and midafternoon during two days of the Event. Boardrooms offer Technology Providers a guaranteed audience of Decision-Makers, while offering Summit guests an opportunity to discuss IT issues, and review the latest products and services. Assigned Boardroom Appointments reflect the technologies and services of interest to you as determined by the registration process.
