We define midsize businesses as those with 100+ employees, and annual sales revenue in the $100 million -$1 billion range. Senior IT Executives further qualify to attend the Event based on job function, IT budget level, and decision-making authority. We invite guests from across industries with an emphasis on high growth segments with the greatest IT purchasing power.

While there are numerous IT events, none have focused solely on the needs of the midmarket. This has set the criteria for qualifying our audience of Senior IT Executives who manage IT initiatives at midsize businesses, Technology Providers with midmarket solutions, and the targeted conference program. Now in its 8th year, Midsize Enterprise Summit continues to grow with an extended three-and-a-half day Agenda and an increase in the number of IT Executive Attendees at each venue.

How and why does Gartner attract hosted Senior IT Executives?

Our dedicated Audience Acquisition Team reaches out to Senior IT Executives in top organizations at top enterprises via phone and face-to-face meetings. Prior to the Summit, we are in constant contact with these IT Executives in order to help facilitate their personal productivity during their Summit experience. Our Summit invitation list is created based on input from Gartner analysts, leading technology providers, event partners, advisory board members and our own proprietary market research as well as list rentals.

Hosted Senior IT Executives prefer this event model because they attend Boardroom Appointments based upon their current technology needs and upcoming IT initiatives. By attending case studies by technology providers, they can quickly create a short list of preferred technology provider partners for subsequent discussions. These Senior Decision-Makers can also request to meet with specific technology provider companies- and Sponsors can request to meet with particular hosted IT Executives during the Summit.

How do I gain access to this Audience?

The Midsize Enterprise Summit format is all about focused business interaction between senior level IT Executives and Technology Providers. The Summit presents several opportunities for audience interaction. The primary activity consists of Private Boardroom Appointments where Technology Providers meet with 16-20 IT Executives at a time and give an in-depth presentation on their IT solutions.

Our boardroom scheduling and allocation process carefully matches Technology Providers and IT Executives based on needs and objectives. The interactive process enables Executives to ask questions and give feedback.

During the Summit, hundreds of One-on-One Meetings take place between individual IT Executives and individual Technology Providers. These One-on-One Meetings serve as the perfect follow-up to the boardroom meetings. IT Executives have the opportunity to ask important questions and give direct feedback on Technology Provider solutions. In addition, One-on-Ones take place on the Solution Showcase where they are complemented by hands-on demonstrations at each Technology Provider's booth. One of the innovative tools we provide is an online Self-Scheduling System where IT Executives and Technology Providers can view each other's schedules and set up meetings.
